A lucky Cork punter pocketed over €2,100 from a 50 cent football bet on Sunday.
The anonymous backer correctly bet on six odds-against shots across Belarus, Burundi and Nicaragua at combined odds of 4,266/1.
The ambitious acca looked to be all-but over when FC Slutsk went behind away to FC Isloch in Belarus, but two goals in the 61st and 75th minutes ensured the comeback was complete and the six-fold landed to a whopping €2,133.88 from just a €0.50 stake.
Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes said: “Even though there is very little football going on right now, this fan’s interest in international football has netted him a tidy sum.
"Picking out six odds-against shots to the tune of 4,266/1 is simply incredible and we take our hats off to him.”
