LUCKNOW: On the pretext of a test ride, a miscreant fled with a motorcycle In Indiranagar on Tuesday. The victim, Abhinav Srivastava of Gomtinagar, had given an online advertisement for the sale of the motorcycle of his maternal uncle Gyan Chand Srivastava of Indira Nagar. He had created his own Id on OLX.
On September 30, Abhinav got a call on his cell phone from a man who wished to purchase the motorcycle and asked the victim to show the bike at a place in Sector 14 in Indiranagar.
The victim reached the spot and met the miscreant who asked the former to let him go on a test ride. “I allowed him to go on the test ride. But when he did not return, I dialled 112. Soon, a police team approached me and asked me to lodge an FIR,” he said.
ADCP, north zone, Prachi Singh said that an FIR under charges of criminal breach of trust and dishonesty has been registered against an unidentified person.
