LUCKNOW: As many as 57 people, including 30 women, tested Covid-19 positive in the city on Tuesday, taking the active caseload to 652. Meanwhile, 192 patients also recovered from the infection in the same period. District surveillance officer(DSO) Dr Milind Vardhan said these patients have mild to moderate Covid-19 symptoms and are recovering in home isolation.
The highest 17 cases came from Kaiserbagh area, followed by Sarojininagar (9), Aliganj (7), Chinhat (6), Alambagh(5), and other areas, he said. DSO said among those tested positive, 20 patients had influenza-like symptoms, five had travel history, three were diagnosed before being admitted to the hospital for non-Covid ailments.
