LUCKNOW: Lucknow University and Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti Language University (KMCLU) also resumed their offline classes on Monday. However, at both the universities, students attendance was quite low — with just 5-10% turning up on the campus. Those who attended classes said they were happy to be back on the campus.
“I was eagerly waiting for the offline classes, hence made sure not to miss a single lecture. All pending doubts were cleared up by the faculty,” said BA student Akarshi Kaul.
A KMCLU BSc student said, “I am happy that now I can complete all the pending practicals in the laboratory. Three lectures were held in our department with adherence to social distancing. More batchmates will join classes from tomorrow.”
KMCLU spokesperson Tanu Dang said, “The attendance was quite low, around 10% on the first day, but gradually more students are expected to join in.”
“Student count was low but the classes were held as scheduled,” said Lucknow University spokesperson Durgesh Srivastava.
