LUCKNOW: The undergraduate and postgraduate semester examinations of Lucknow University will begin on Thursday. The examinations were scheduled in January but were postponed due to the Covid 19 third wave. The examinations will conclude in April.
About 2,000 MA students of LU and affiliated colleges will appear in the examinations at 13 centres in the city amid adherence to Covid safety norms.
“There will be no entry in the examination room without mask. Students will have to report early so that they can enter the examination halls timely amid social distancing,” said LU spokesperson Durgesh Srivastava.
He said a team of teachers and senior research scholars have been deputed to ensure that examinees strictly follow the Covid safety norms. No mobile phone or calculator will be allowed in the examination halls.
Seating arrangements have been made in accordance with Covid norms.
Examinations of all semesters except the first semester will be held.
