LUCKNOW: As the state government celebrated its first 100 days in power of its second term on Monday, the industries and IT departments remained among the foremost where crucial decisions have been taken and projects implemented during this period.
Starting with the ground-breaking ceremony presided over by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said set the tone for further development and industrialisation in the next five years, the department saw clearance being granted to four data centres. Clearance to projects worth Rs 7,625 crore was also given under the electronic manufacturing policy.
Financial clearance was issued for setting up six incubators under the state's startup policy.
As per information released by the department, the ground-breaking ceremony on June 3, 2022, saw the launch of 1,406 projects with an investment of Rs 80,224 crore. Once these projects take off, around six lakh people will get employment.
