LUCKNOW: The high turnout for Covid vaccination continued on Friday with 38,234 people including 14,765 (39%) women taking the jab at 104 booths: 75 government and 29 private, across the district.
The turnout was highest in the 18-44 age group as 27,979 (73%) came to take their first or second dose. About 19% (7,198) beneficiaries were in the 45-59 years category and the share of those aged 60 years or above was 7% (2,682).
Overall, 26,519 (69%) people took the first dose and 11,715 (30%) completed their two-dose course.
So far, 20.55 lakh (57%) of the district's 36 lakh adult population has received at least one shot. However, the number of fully immunized persons is 7.5 lakh (21%).
Meanwhile, two persons tested Covid-19 positive in the past 24 hours, while only one patient recovered. The number of active cases now stand at 28.
