Lucknow: No voter card? Use these IDs

LUCKNOW: DM Abhishek Prakash has said if a voter does not a voter identity card, she/he can still vote by producing 12 other identification proof recognized by the government.

“If a voter doesn’t have a voter ID card, she/he can still cast vote by fulfilling two conditions – the voters name should be in the voter list and the voter must produce one of the 12 identity cards issued by the government,” the DEO said. These IDs are Aadhaar, driving licence, PAN card, passport, pension document with photograph, bank passbook with photograph, MGNREGA job card, unique disability card, national population register card, central/state government/public limited employee ID card and MP/MLA/MLC ID card.
