LUCKNOW: A resident of Sushant Golf City has accused a relative of killing her son by throwing him from a sixth floor apartment on August 22.
The deceased was identified as Shreyansh (3) while the accused was identified as Kuldeep Pandey of Faizabad.
According to the child’s mother Priyansha Dwivedi, Kuldeep is the brother of her sister’s husband.
Priyansha said she had differences with her husband and was hence staying in the house of her sister Swati Tripathi along with her son.
On Rakshabandhan, Priyansha and Swati’s elder sister Sonal Pandey and her family had visited Swati’s house.
She said Shreyansh was very close to Sonal’s children and so he went to Sonal’s place, which was also in Golf City.
“Sonal’s brother-in-law Kuldeep was visiting her and was in an inebriated state. He threw Shreyansh from the sixth floor with an intention to kill him,” said Priyansha in her FIR. Shreyansh was rushed to Medanta hospital where he died later.
“I came to know about Kuldeep’s act when I talked to the children present at Sonal’s house,” she said.
SHO Sushant Golf City Vijayendra Singh said a case of murder had been registered against Kuldeep and investigations are underway. “We are scanning CCTV footage of the incident,” he said.
