Lucknow: Girl thrashes driver, 3 challaned

LUCKNOW: Krishnanagar police challaned three men for breach of peace on Saturday night in connection with a road rage case after a video went viral in which a girl is seen repeatedly slapping a man.

The trio were identified as Shahadat Ali, Inayat Ali and Dawood Ali, all from Wazirganj.

ADCP, Central, Chiranjeev Nath Sinha said a girl from Kesari Khand was going to Awadh crossing on foot when a speeding car whizzed past her, scared her out of her wits. She raised an alarm after which traffic cops got the vehicle stopped.

Agitated over the driver’s conduct, the girl caught hold of him and started slapping her repeatedly in full public view bringing traffic movement to a halt. The high-voltage drama ended after a police team reached the scene.

The cops detained the three men and challaned them for breach of peace.
