LUCKNOW: Former executive director of the National School of Drama (NSD) Dinesh Khanna took charge as director of Bhartendu Natya Akademi (BNA) on Monday.
Khanna is an alumnus of Bhartendu Natya Akademi and the NSD. He inspected the library and visited auditorium and hostels of the akademi. He also interacted with students and academic staff in the Thrust Theater.
Akademi president Ravi Shankar Khare and senior theatre artist Anil Rastogi were also present. He said, “The focus will be to provide basic facilities and arrangements to students. The cooperation of the alumni will be able to provide publicity among the general public in the field of theatre.”
