LUCKNOW: Two men were crushed to death in separate accidents in Para area on Tuesday.
In the first incident, a 25-year-old man was crushed to death by a speeding truck near Mohan Road in Para, while his brother sustained serious injuries.
The deceased, Sanjay of Kakori, along with his brother Jaykaran, was going to some place when the speeding truck hit them from the rear side. Police rushed the siblings to the KGMU trauma centre where doctors declared Sanjay dead while Jaykaran remains critical.
In another incident a 54-year-old man was crushed to death by a speeding auto. Krishna Kumar was going to Lodheshwar Mandir in Barabanki with his relatives on a two-wheeler when a speeding auto hit them. Police said that the truck and auto had been seized while their drivers managed to escape. “We have registered an FIR and a manhunt is on to find the culprits,” said an official.
