'Luckily' - Leeds United favourite makes Nottingham Forest prediction

Leeds United will make one change for their crunch promotion clash with Nottingham Forest, according to former goalkeeper Paul Robinson.

The Reds welcome Leeds to the City Ground on Saturday evening (5.30pm) in what looks set to be a big game in the battle for Premier League promotion.

Marcelo Bielsa’s men go into the game four points ahead of Forest, but know that lead will be cut to one point with defeat. For Sabri Lamouchi, three points will put them within touching distance of the automatic promotion spots.

Jean-Kevin Augustin will be hoping to make his debut following his January arrival, but Robinson, who came through the youth ranks at Leeds and spent six years in the first team, has said that won’t be the change made at the City Ground – with Gaetano Berardi coming in instead.

“Kalvin Phillips is still out (suspended) for the game against Nottingham Forest, which is a massive game,” Robinson told MOT Leeds News.

“Away from home, I think he will put Gaetano Berardi in the centre of defence alongside Liam Cooper and put Ben White in the holding midfield role.

“That’s something he’s done before and I can see him doing that again to shore things up away from home.

“Having those three players on the pitch will also give extra protection at set-pieces.

“Berardi has been a big part of what Leeds have done this season.”
