Lucky Dublin 15 Lotto player celebrating after scooping over €300,000 prize

A lucky west Dublin Lotto player has woken up over €300,000 richer after scooping the whopping prize on Wednesday night's draw.

The mystery winner narrowly missed out on the mega jackpot of €8.3 million but will pick up a cheque for €311,413 after matching five numbers plus the bonus ball.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was sold yesterday at Spar on Church Road in Mulhuddart, Dublin 15.

Residents in the Dublin 15 area are being urged to check their tickets to see if they are the lucky winners.

A Lotto spokesperson said: “It’s a fantastic way for one of our lucky players to celebrate the Easter holidays, knowing that they will have a cheque for over €300,000 waiting for them to collect at Lotto HQ once COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.

"If you are this lucky winner please sign the back of the ticket and contact our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 and we will make arrangements for you to collect your prize when it is safe to do so."

The winning numbers were 10, 13, 24, 32, 33, 42 and the bonus ball was 05.

The National Lottery has extended the period of time that winners can collect prizes due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Winners of Lotto and Lotto Plus, Lotto 54321, EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus, Telly Bingo, Daily Millions and Daily Millions Plus draws from 9 January 2020 until draws in the week 5 July 2020 will have an extra three months to claim their prize.
