Lucifer actor Tom Ellis shares appeal to find missing Sarah Everard

Lucifer star Tom Ellis has voiced his support for a search to find Sarah Everard who was last seen six days ago.

Sarah, 33, who is a former Durham University student, has not been seen since March 3 and police are scouring South London for clues, inspecting ponds, a railway station and other places to find her.

Tom, who plays devil Lucifer Morningstar on the popular Netflix show, has now shared a tweet appealing for people to check dashcam and doorbell footage in a number of London areas.

He said: “If anyone can help. We are looking for a missing person. Sarah Everard was last seen last Wednesday.”

It comes after police renewed an appeal to check for footage from doorbell cameras or CCTV "even if you're not sure."

Police are also asking delivery drivers or anyone with dashcam footage who would have been in the Poynders Road area at around 8.30pm on Wednesday, March 3 to come forward.

Sarah left her friend's house near Clapham Common at around 9pm on Wednesday, March 3, but disappeared on her way home to Brixton.

She used the rear gate of her friend's house on Leathwaite Road, and was last seen wearing a green rain jacket, navy blue trousers with a white diamond pattern and turquoise and orange trainers.

Sarah was also thought to have been wearing green earphones and a white beanie hat.

The last sighting of the marketing manager was on Poynders Road, not far from Clapham Common, MyLondon reports.

She was captured on CCTV - believed to be from a doorbell camera - walking alone on A205 Poynders Road, from the junction with Cavendish Road, in the direction of Tulse Hill.

On Monday evening, Detective Chief Inspector Katherine Goodwin, who is leading the Metropolitan Police’s investigation, said they had received hundreds of calls into Sarah's disappearance as their investigation continued.

The force also confirmed a hat found earlier the same day is unlikely to be the one Sarah was wearing when she disappeared.

Sarah, who is from York, studied in Durham and family say she has a large circle of friends in the city from her time at university, as well as in the capital.
