- Lucid is offering over $20,000 in discounts this month for certain Air EVs.
- The offers are valid if a new car is picked up from a Lucid store this month.
Lucid Motors is ramping up its efforts to sell as many Air sedans as possible this month. By stacking several offers together, the California company will happily slash the price of a brand-new Air EV by over $20,000. Here’s what you need to know.
The largest discount is $22,500, and it applies to the 2025 Lucid Air Touring, a car that usually has a list price of roughly $90,000. But there are some things you need to be aware of if you’re looking to take the plunge.

That huge discount is only available for inventory units, and buyers can only choose a three-year lease with a down payment of $5,389. There’s a $1,000 bonus if you pick up a car from one of Lucid’s stores and a $4,000 allowance if you trade in a Tesla. The rest of the discount is made up of a $10,000 Air Credit and the $7,500 federal tax credit.
The discount goes down by $2,000 if the buyer owns or leases another combustion or hybrid vehicle, but that vehicle doesn’t have to be traded in. In this case, the total discount is $20,500 in the case of the Lucid Air Touring.
If you want an entry-level Lucid Air Pure, the discount isn't quite as tempting but still considerable. Lucid knocks up to $20,000 off when trading in a Tesla and up to $18,000 when the buyer owns a non-Tesla vehicle from a competing brand. That's $2,500 less compared to the deal on the Air Touring.
Meanwhile, the Lucid Air Grand Touring gets the smallest discount of the sedan lineup but it's still $17,500 when trading in a Tesla. The range-topping Air Sapphire with its 1,234 horsepower isn’t eligible for any of these offers.

The base Lucid Air Pure starts from roughly $70,000. It’s a rear-wheel drive electric sedan with 430 horsepower and a 420-mile estimated range. The Touring trim level is $10,000 more, but for the extra cash, you get two electric motors with a total output of 620 hp, as well as a zero-to-60 mph sprint in 3.4 seconds. However, the range figure is 406 miles—lower than the Pure, but still impressive.
The longest-range Lucid Air is the Grand Touring. Starting from just over $111,000, it puts down 819 hp and has an estimated range of 512 miles on a full charge. It can also get to 60 mph in just three seconds.
Lucid Motors had its fifth consecutive record quarter for deliveries at the beginning of the year. With 3,109 units finding new homes, Lucid increased its numbers by 28% compared to the same period last year. It’s looking good for Lucid, and if you’re in the market for a blisteringly fast luxury EV, these deals might just be the sign you’ve been waiting for. Just don’t expect your shiny new Lucid Air to be worth anywhere near as much when the lease is over.
