Luciano Narsingh's Swansea City exit edges ever closer but there could be a spanner in the works - reports

Fenerbahce are ready to move for Luciano Narsingh once his contract runs out at Swansea City this summer.

That's according to Turkish outlet Fotomac , which claims that Fener manager Ersun Yanal has already been given a green light to make a move for the Dutchman.

Narsingh has endured a nightmare spell at SA1 since arriving from PSV Eindhoven in January 2017, with his time in South Wales blighted by a combination of injury and poor form.

As a result, he's only played 40 times for the Swans, with only two of those appearances coming under current boss Graham Potter, who's been heavily linked with the vacancy at Brighton and Hove Albion following Chris Hughton's sacking.

The 28-year old was linked with a move to Istanbul last sum mer when Philip Cocu, who worked with Narsingh at PSV, was in charge of the club and, with Swansea preparing for another season in the Championship, it appears their interest could well be redkindled.

Fenerbahce's sporting director Damien Comolli has reportedly already opened talks with the winger, and is believed to be hopeful of completing a move before the start of pre-season training.

However, there could yet be a twist.

Narsingh's agent, Mino Raiola, who also represents Paul Pogba and Mario Balotelli, has been hit with a three-month transfer ban by FIFA, preventing him from working on any deals this summer.

It's not yet clear what impact, if any, his ban will have on Narsingh's future, but an exit from the Liberty Stadium nevertheless looks certain.

What Swansea City desperately need this summer and the stark reality of their transfer policy
