Arsenal supporters will love what Lucas Torreira has picked out as his favourite moment of the 2018/2019 season.
Signed from Sampdoria last summer, the Uruguay international was eased into the Gunners XI by new head coach Unai Emery and it took him a while to start his first Premier League game.
It came in mid-September, a 2-0 win over Everton at the Emirates Stadium, and Torreira has very much been a regular ever since.
Whilst his form did suffer a dip after the festive period, there's one game that will stick in the mind of many Gunners supporters when it comes to Torreira and it's the 4-2 win over bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur in late 2018.
And the midfielder has opened up on that game where he also scored his first goal.
"My first north London derby was unforgettable, because of the way it went down and how you experience these games," he told Arsenal Player. "We knew how important the Tottenham game was gong into it.
"We were playing at home in front of a lot of fans and we had to win - we had to give the fans something to celebrate.
"It was a really long game and an entertaining one too: we took the lead and then they went 2-1 up, before we were able to put the game to bed in the second half.
"It was a wonderful goal for me to score.
"It meant an awful lot. Scoring in the derby is the best thing that can happen to a player so I really enjoyed it."
