Lucas Perez could be on his way out of West Ham, with Real Betis keen on signing the former Arsenal striker.

Perez, 30, joined the Hammers for £4million in August on a three-year deal but has failed to nail down a regular spot in Manuel Pellegrini’s first XI.

The Spaniard has scored four goals in 13 appearances but West Ham would be prepared to let him go if they received the right offer.

Real Betis are keen to take Perez on loan but West Ham would prefer a permanent deal and may yet decide to hold onto the striker, at least until next summer.

West Ham have made one addition so far during the January transfer window with Samir Nasri arriving on a deal until the end of the season.

The former Arsenal midfielder impressed on his debut in the FA Cup third round victory over Birmingham on Saturday and is in contention to start against the Gunners in his side’s Premier League clash this weekend.
