Lucas Parkinson: Cross-border search underway to trace Paisley schoolboy who vanished four days ago

Police are appealing for information to help trace a schoolboy who was last seen in the Paisley area around 5pm on Wednesday, 15 September, 2021.

Lucas Parkinson, 14, is described as around 5ft 8 in height, of a medium build, with brown eyes and curly short brown hair.

When last seen he was wearing a grey Nike tracksuit and dark blue and grey Nike trainers.

Sergeant Will Thomson, Paisley Police Station, said: "Officers have been carrying out significant enquiries since Lucas was reported missing but so far no one has seen or heard from him.

"However, in saying that, we have had information that he may have travelled to the Leeds area of England but that is unconfirmed as yet.

"We have been liaising with our colleagues at British Transport Police to check to see if he boarded a train and also with bus companies, however, we'd also appeal to anyone who may have seen him recently or who has any information that will assist us with tracing him.

"I'd also ask Lucas himself to contact his family, friends or police to let them know where his is."

Police can be contacted by calling 101 and quoting incident number 2398 of 16/09/21.
