Lucas Moura transformation into Tottenham’s latest hero a testament to Pochettino’s management and belief

Tottenham will face Liverpool in an all-English Champions League final following two semi-finals which will go down in history as among the greatest.

A second-half Lucas Moura hat-trick, sealed in the 96th minute in Amsterdam, brought Tottenham back from 3-0 down on aggregate.

The night before, Liverpool overcame a 3-0 deficit from their first leg tie with Barcelona with a 4-0 victory at Anfield to book their place in the Madrid showpiece on June 1.

Pochettino’s side continued their remarkable run of European comebacks, with their campaign having started with one point from three group stage games, and the Argentine continues to defy logic with what he can achieve with such a thin, worn squad.

Speaking before the game, Pochettino said that winning the Champions League with this Tottenham side, in this season of flux, would be an unbeatable achievement, perhaps one that would prompt him to leave the club on a high, a theme he continued post-match - somewhat sarcastically.

Spurs are confident of having Harry Kane back for the final, while midfielder Harry Winks could also return.

Watch above as Standard Sport’s James Olley and Jack Rosser review a stunning night of Champions League football and rate Pochettino’s achievement with this Tottenham side.
