Manchester United midfielder Casemiro's sparkling first season in the Premier League has earned the respect of former Brazil teammate Lucas Moura.
Erik ten Hag's side secured Champions League qualification by beating Chelsea on Thursday and subsequently sealed third place in the Premier League on the final day of the campaign with a win over Fulham.
United bounced back from Kenny Tete’s early header with David de Gea saving Aleksandar Mitrovic’s penalty before Jadon Sancho and Bruno Fernandes sealed a 2-1 comeback victory.

For Casemiro it ended his first Premier League campaign during which he has been a key player for United. There were question marks over the signing of the former Real Madrid man when he arrived at Old Trafford last summer.
But the Brazil international has answered the critics with a string of superb performances. He scored in the Carabao Cup final success over Newcastle United and has been a key player for Ten Hag's side.
Having posted on Instagram to mark the end of the season, he was congratulated by fellow Brazilian Lucas Moura. In response to Casemiro's final day post looking ahead to the FA Cup final with Manchester City, the Tottenham man wrote: "You are a monster."
The United man wrote: "Thanks, Reds, Thanks Old Trafford. See you at Wembley."
Casemiro and his teammates will attempt to thwart City's Treble attempt by beating Pep Guardiola's side in the FA Cup final. United are seeking a domestic cup double to crown what has already been a positive first season under Ten Hag.
The final takes place on Saturday at Wembley with a 3pm kick-off.
