Lucan, Dublin crash leaves motorcyclist in hospital with serious injuries

A motorcyclist has been left with serious injuries in hospital following a single-vehicle crash in Dublin.

Gardaí have launched an investigation into the serious road traffic collision which occurred on the R121 Clonsilla to Lucan Road at around 10.45pm last night, Tuesday, June 15.

A man on a motorcycle was travelling southbound (Clonsilla towards Lucan) just past Westmanstown when the accident occurred.

He was swiftly transported to James Connolly Memorial Hospital in Blanchardstown by emergency services, where he is now being treated for serious injuries.

Gardai are now appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward with any information they may have.

They are also appealing to anyone with video footage (including dashcam) from the location to make it available to them.
