Luas out of action for June Bank Holiday weekend with no service to busy Green Line stops

Luas services into the city centre will be heavily disrupted this June bank holiday weekend as no trams will run between Beechwood and St Stephen's Green.

The busy Green Line stops will instead be serviced by a replacement bus.

The Beechwood, Ranelagh, Charlemont, Harcourt, and Stephen's Green stops are all closed until Tuesday.

Essential engineering work on the rails will be carried out along the line over the weekend.

"Essential Luas engineering works are taking place on the Luas Green Line over the June Bank Holiday weekend to replace sections of the Southbound Luas tracks at Charlemont Stop," the tram providers said.

"To facilitate these works, Luas Stops between St. Stephen’s Green and Beechwood will be closed over the June Bank Holiday weekend Sat 5th, Sun 6th and Mon 7th Jun.

"Works on the Northbound track that took place on Sat 25th and Sun 26th Apr, and Sat 1st, Sun 2nd and Bank Holiday Mon 3rd May are now complete. Please be advised noise will be generated during these works."

The replacement bus stops are listed in the table below:
