Luas Green Line passengers face delays as northbound services suspended

Northbound Luas Green Line services were temporarily suspended due to a tram fault at Kilmacud earlier this morning.

Services have since resumed but passengers are facing delays of up to 20 minutes.

Luas announced that there was no service between Sandyford and Balally in a tweet.

Tickets were valid on Dublin Bus during the disruption, Dublin Live reports.

Luas tweeted: "Passengers, due to a technical fault with a tram at Kilmacud, northbound services are not in operation.

"Tickets are valid on Dublin Bus. Please accept our apologies for any and all inconvenience caused."

A further tweet confirmed that services had since resumed: "Green Line services are back in operation. Please expect delays of 15-20 minutes as service returns to normal.

"Luas tickets are valid on Dublin Bus for the duration of this disruption."
