LUCKNOW: The postgraduate entrance tests of Lucknow University are scheduled to begin on Saturday.
On the first day, around 1,600 candidates will write the examination in two shifts for admission to Master of Education (MEd) course.
The entrance test for admission to around 4,000 seats in over 30 courses will continue till September 17. The scores of the entrance test will be the basis for admission at LU and around a dozen LU-affiliated colleges that have opted for University's centralised admission system.
A candidate can easily reach the examination centre by scanning the barcode on the right-hand side of the admit card, said officials.
"No whiteners or electronic gadgets are allowed in the examination hall. A candidate has to reach the examination centre one hour before the scheduled time. We have received 28,138 applications for admission to PG courses," said admission coordinator Pankaj Mathur.
He said that the entrance test will have 100 objective-type questions to be answered in 90 minutes. Each question will be of 2 marks. There shall be no negative marking.
