Lu Dort has reportedly signed with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s agents

Sports agent Thad Foucher has been affiliated with the Oklahoma City Thunder for a length of time, having represented Russell Westbrook throughout his career with the organization.

Foucher, who is also the executive vice president and managing executive of basketball for Wasserman Media Group, also represents Oklahoma City’s newly acquired young guard, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, alongside fellow Wasserman employee Joe Smith.

Well, it looks like the Wasserman tandem has added yet another member of the Oklahoma City Thunder. Royce Young of ESPN is now reporting Thunder rookie Lu Dort has signed a deal with Foucher and Smith. (Dort currently has a two-way deal with the Thunder.)

Thunder two-way player Lu Dort has signed with agents Thad Foucher and Joe Smith of Wasserman Media Group, according to league sources. Foucher is the long-time agent agent of Russell Westbrook and Foucher and Smith also represent Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

Dort was previously represented by Chris Emens of Octagon, an agency which represents multiple superstars in the NBA. Octagon’s list of current clients includes the 2019 MVP and Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, two-time MVP and Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry, and Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young, along with the Thunder’s own Dennis Schroder.
