LSU S Grant Delpit leaves game vs. Texas with injury

The LSU Tigers are trying to hold off the Texas Longhorns in a top-10 battle, but they may have to finish the job without one of the best players in all of college football.

Star safety Grant Delpit has left the game with an injury:

Michael Divinity is now in the locker room getting checked on, Rashard Lawrence had to get carried off and now Grant Delpit is slow to get up.

Widely regarded as one of the top prospects eligible for the 2020 NFL draft, Delpit is a rare safety prospect who could garner top-five consideration should he decide to leave school early this offseason.

Hopefully, his injury isn’t serious enough to keep him out of action for too long.
