LUCKNOW: The superb all-round show by Krunal Pandya and the 35-run knock by KL Rahul helped Lucknow Super Giants notch a resounding five-wicket victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL match at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium on Friday.
Krunal's bowling spell of 3/18 set the tone for the game at LSG succeeded in restricting SRH to 121 runs at the loss of eight wickets. Krunal also scored 34 runs off 23 deliveries, making LSG's chase an easy affair.

Krunal and Rahul had an impeccable 55-run partnership for the third wicket. The target was just 22 runs away when Krunal was dismissed in the thirteenth over of the match. LSG successfully chased the target in 16 overs losing five wickets.
While Rahul hit four boundaries, Krunal struck four boundaries and a six.
After Rahul's dismissal in the 15th over, Romario Shepherd (0) was also sent packing in the next delivery by Adil Rashid (2/23).
Bhuvneshwar Kumar gave away 13 runs in the first over of LSG's run chase, bowling five wides and Rahul hitting a four.
Rahul lost his opening partner Kyle Mayers (13) who was dismissed by Fazalhaq Farooqi, SRH's impact player who replaced Rahul Tripathi.

In the very first ball, Markram went for a drive but the ball hit his off stump.
Ravi Bishnoi then claimed the scalp of Harry Brook, stumped by Nicholas Pooran, for 3.
Tottering at 55/4, SRH could not regain their ground.
Leg-spinner Amit Mishra's brilliant spell of 2/23 restricted SRH to a small total. Mishra was substituted by 'impact player' Ayush Badoni in the penultimate over.
LSG tasted success in the third over when Agarwal tried to hit Marcus Stoinis. Anmolpreet and Makram were out in the eighth over.
Rahul Tripathi (34) remained the lone warrior as he had a 39-run partnership with Washington Sundar (16), before falling prey to Yash Thakur.
Abdul Samad hit two sixes in the last over by Jaydev Unadkat.
