LPGA star Michelle Wie announced her engagement to Jonnie West, son of Jerry West, over the weekend, and the two of them sure do look happy about it.
The couple announced their engagement on Wie’s Instagram on Sunday. The proposal appears to have taken place on the Lyon Street Steps in San Francisco. Their proposal comes after they went public with their relationship in January.
West works as a staffer for the Golden State Warriors.
After fighting through pain for a year due to an injury to her right hand, Wie underwent surgery in Oct. 2018, and has made just one outing since the procedure. She didn’t finish that appearance, completing just 14 holes at HSBC Women’s World Championship in February.
