A loyal dog was spotted waiting for her sick owner outside a hospital every day until he was discharged a week later.
The dog, Boncuk, chased after the ambulance carrying her owner, Cemal Senturk, to hospital in the city of Trabzon on January 14.
Senturk's daughter, Aynur Egeli, took Boncuk home, but she returned to the hospital daily.
A security guard said: “She comes every day around 9am and waits until nightfall. She doesn’t go in.
“When the door opens she pokes her head inside.”
Fortunately, Cemal recovered and he and his dog were finally reunited when he came out in a wheelchair on Wednesday.
He said: “She’s very used to me. And I miss her too, constantly.”
The pair went home together after Senturk was discharged.
