Lowe’s is making it easier to keep up with home maintenance with a new annual subscription service called HomeCare+.
Launched nationwide this week, the $99-a-year program is available to members of Lowe’s MyLowe’s Rewards loyalty program and will reach more than 75 percent of homes across the country, according to a news release.
Subscribers get two in‑home visits per year, during which trained Lowe’s associates tackle up to seven routine maintenance tasks. That includes dryer vent cleaning, HVAC and refrigerator filter replacements, water heater flushing, garage door lubrication, battery replacement in smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and even light bulb changes.
HomeCare+ members also automatically earn Gold Status in the MyLowe’s Rewards program. That comes with perks like 1.5 points per dollar spent, fast and free delivery on eligible orders, member-only deals, and 5 percent off select maintenance items such as filters and light bulbs.
