A nurse who "lit up the room with a smile" died when her car crashed with two lorries on the M6 on Monday.
The devastated colleagues of Victoria Kavanagh have described her as a much loved and dedicated member of the profession.
The 41-year-old was driving a Citroen C1 which collided with two lorries on Monday, reports Birmingham Live.
The drivers of both lorries stopped at the scene and are with assisting the investigation.
Ms Kavanagh, from Oldbury, was critically injured and pronounced dead at the scene, between junctions 9 and 10.
The mum had graduated in children’s nursing 18 months ago and quickly landed her dream job, working with safeguarding children - a role she was said to have "excelled at".
She had also just been accepted to study for her Masters in Public Health.
In a tribute issued through the force, Ms Kavanagh's family said: "Victoria was a loving mother and daughter and a friend to everyone she met.
"She graduated 18 months ago in children's nursing and got her dream job shortly after, working with safeguarding children.
"She had so much to look forward to.
"She will leave behind a massive hole in our lives and will be forever missed."
A tribute posted on the School and Public Health Nurses Association's website said: "We are so very sad to hear of the tragic death of our school nursing colleague Viki Kavanagh. This is as a result of a road traffic accident.
"According to her professional lead, Sallyann Sutton, Walsall NHS Trust, she excelled at her role as a staff nurse within the school health service.
"Her supervisors and other colleagues have nothing but positive praise for her contribution to the health and wellbeing of children and young people, ‘lighting up the room with her smile’.
"She will be a huge loss to the profession.
"We offer our deepest condolences to them and her family."
West Midlands Police is urging anyone who witnessed the crash, which happened shortly before 9am, to come forward.
The drivers of both lorries stopped at the scene and were helping officers in their investigation.
Det Con Damian Gibson, from the force's Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "A woman has tragically lost her life and we are doing everything to piece together the moments leading to her death.
"We are continuing to appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision or with dashcam footage to contact us."
