The family of a very special lady gathered at the weekend to celebrate her 90th birthday.
Isabel Thomson turned 90 on Monday and her family joined her at Heatherfield Nursing Home for a special party the day before.
She also enjoyed a concert at the nursing home on her birthday.
Isabel was born in 1932 and was brought up in Dechmont.
She married Tommy Thomson and the couple went on to have four children - Kenny, Norma, Carol and Gillian.
Isabel now has nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Before she retired she worked as a nurse most of her life, including at Bangour and Tippethill hospitals.
Her family said they would like thank the staff at Heatherfield Nursing Home for letting them all get together to mark Isabel’s special day.
