You'd think it was common sense not to leave evidence linking back to you in a stolen car, but apparently not.
One suspected car thief forgot to take their McDonald's receipt with them and now police are using it to try and catch them.
According to GMP Trafford, the vehicle - thought to be a Fiesta - was reported being seen driving dangerously in the Manor Avenue area of Sale on Tuesday night.
The car was on false plates, and is believed to have been stolen from the Trafford Centre several weeks earlier.

Patrols went looking for the vehicle, and later found it abandoned and unlocked on nearby Epsom Avenue.
Officers searched the car, and inside discovered a receipt for a Big Mac and McFlurry, as well as several other menu items.
Police say they will be carrying out CCTV enquiries at the fast food restaurant.
GMP Trafford South posted on Facebook: "Stolen car recovered after reports that a car is driving dangerously in Sale.
"On arrival the car was unattended and checks show its on false plates.
"Whoever has been using the car has made a trip to a well known drive through which has CCTV as you’ve kindly left me your receipt, you can't teach stupid!"
