A man killed after being hit by a car has been named locally as Adam Conway.
The 21-year-old, from Huyton, was discovered lying in the road after a hit and run on Wednesday, January 21.
Police found his body at around 12.30am, on Moss Bank Road, St Helens, and pronounced him dead at the scene.

Tributes have been paid to Adam, who has been described as being a 'lovely lad.'
Liam Morris posted on Facebook: "RIP to little Adam Conway, too young, thoughts with your family."
Deborah Greenwood also paid tribute, writing: "So this week's been the worst week I can recall in a long time.
"Lost this lovely young man and feel heartbroken."
Commenting on Deborah's tribute, Louise Weatherley added: "I just don’t have the words, so so sad."
And Kaye Wallace said: "Such a lovely lad, today has hurt a lot of hearts."
Mackenzie Ewen said: "Rip Adam Conway so shocked. Rest easy.
"Was always a lovely lad thoughts with your family and all your friends."
Detectives believe a Blue Mazda hatchback car hit Adam, before leaving the scene.
A 51-year-old man from St Helens was arrested on suspicion of death by dangerous driving.
He has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
Police are continuing to appeal for information following the incident that lead to the tragedy.
Sergeant Steve Smith from Merseyside police serious collision investigation unit said: "If you were driving in the Washway Lane, Moss Bank Road and Scafell Road area at around 12.30am or were in the vicinity of the Moss Bank Hotel at this time and have any dashcam or CCTV footage, please review it and get in touch if you see anything that may assist our enquiries.
"Any information, however small it may seem, could prove vital as we seek to understand exactly what happened.
"Whether you choose to get information to us directly or anonymously, through Crimestoppers, any information you provide will be acted upon.”"
