Loved up couple called out for 'jetflix and chill' behaviour on packed flight

An overly amorous couple who showed a little too literally that love is in the air have been slammed for their behaviour which has been branded 'jetflix and chill'.

A picture posted online shows the woman in a blue shirt to be straddling a man in his seat on a busy flight as she leans in for what looks like a romantic smooch.

The man has his hands on her hips and the couple are so loved-up that they appear not to be able to keep their hands off one another despite being surrounded by fellow passengers.

There's even one man sitting in the seat directly next to them and, judging by the small bit of body language we can see, he's not buzzing about his seat selection.

It racked up more than 12,000 likes after being shared on the Passenger Shaming Instagram page, with Beyoncé's lyrics 'your love's got me looking so crazy right now' used as the caption.

Hundreds of commenters got involved to give their own thoughts on the situation.

One replied: "Why can I smell this pic??"

Another said: "Every time I travel, I like the human race less and less."

Some pointed out that the whole display may be even more disturbing than it first seems, by posing the question: "Is she bottomless...?"

One person asked: "What do you even do if you're sitting next to this? Fight, flight, or freeze?"

A second was more interested in how they can find seats that allow so much room for activities, enquiring: "I want to know what airline this is that has that much legroom."

A third stuck up for them by suggesting we don't know the true context of the photo, writing: "I think he refused to get up to let her into her seat, she tried to straddle over him, then the plane hit some turbulence and she fell onto his lap as they bumped lips."

Well, at least they didn't recline the chair.
