Loved and Lost: An interactive tribute to people who lost their lives to Covid-19 in 2020

Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, hundreds of families across Greater Manchester have lost loved ones.

More than 4,000 people have died in the region's hospitals alone after contracting Covid-19 since March last year.

But, behind the statistics that we have been publishing each day, there are human beings who all had loving families and friends.

They all had stories to tell.

At the Manchester Evening News , we have pledged to pay tribute to the people behind the figures.

Since the start of the pandemic, we have been running the Loved and Lost  campaign, in which we honour the memory of the people who died with this terrible disease.

Dozens of families have been in touch with a tribute for their loved ones.

If you want to pay tribute to a loved one, fill out the form here.

Today we present those tributes on this interactive page to remember all of those who have died with coronavirus in 2020.

Click on the images below to read the tributes.
