A couple busy ‘strengthening their relationship’ while parked up on the side of the road had to be rescued by police from a rather precarious position.
Police in Derbyshire rushed out to help the lovebirds after their car, which was parked on the side of a secluded road, ended up rolling down the hill and flipping onto its side.
The couple, who had decided to 'strengthen their relationship' inside the Toyota Yaris, according to officers, accidentally let the handbrake go, the Manchester Evening News reported.
Images posted by the Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit on Twitter show the surprising scene officers encountered upon their arrival.
The car can be seen lying flat on its right hand side, right in the middle of a dark country lane.

Luckily, neither of the occupants ended up with any injuries.
The Derbyshire Police team said: "At an undisclosed location in Derbyshire the couple occupying this Yaris had parked up and were strengthening their relationship.
"Whilst doing so the handbrake became disengaged and it rolled down a hill before flipping on its side.
“No injuries."
With the couple luckily getting away unscathed, Twitter users saw the funny side of the unusual call-out.
One said: "Whoever has to process this insurance claim will be having a great day!"
"When I said let’s try a different position, this isn’t what I meant," another quipped, while a third commented: "Small bump in the relationship but I'm sure it will make a great wedding story."
"Police tweet of the year," a fourth stated.
