Love On The Spectrum’s Abbey Romeo & David Isaacman Confirm Split In Joint Statement

Love on the Spectrum stars Abbey Romeo and David Isaacman have confirmed they’ve broken up after five years together.

Romeo, Isaacman and their families confirmed the devastating news in a statement to PEOPLE magazine, sharing that although they’ve gone their separate ways, the fan-favourites “remain friends”.

“Abbey and David spent four and a half years together and truly value the time they shared and each other,” the statement reads, per the publication.

“At this point, they want different things and have decided to go their separate ways, but they remain friends, wishing each other the best.”

News of the relationship breakdown first surfaced late last week after an inside source claimed to The US Sun that the pair had broken up over when they should get married.

“Sadly, it’s true that David and Abbey broke up,” the source claimed.

“They couldn’t come to an agreement on when to get married. She was ready years ago, he still needed time.”

So far, the reason behind the relationship’s demise has not been confirmed by the family nor Romeo or Isaacman. However, another source who claims to be close to Isaacman says “he is doing very well” after the split.

Romeo and Isaacman met on the first season of Love on the Spectrum back in 2021 and have become fan-favourites ever since. The duo have appeared on all four seasons, with Romeo going viral last year for performing a song, titled “Boyfriend Forever”, for Isaacman.

While the exes and their families have shared a statement with PEOPLE, fans have flocked to both of the stars’ separate social media accounts, asking for a statement regarding the status of their relationship, while others have showered the duo with support.
