Love Islanders stunned as Nas Majeed dramatically dumps Demi for new girl Eva

Love Island's Demi Jones held her head in her hands as Nas shocked contestants with his return to the villa.

It was to be the first of two major bombshells that the girls in the main villa were surprised by in the dramatic recoupling.

The Portsmouth beauty was left standing alone as she was ditched by her former beau, leaving her now single alongside Shaughna.

All the girls were absolutely stunned at the moment Nas returned hand in hand with new girl Eva Zapico.

As Nas came to the fire place with his new partner, presenter Laura Whitmore asked the builder whether he had anything to say.

"I can't fault you Demi," Nas admitted in the painful moment.

"In the short amount of time we've been together, you've been amazing."

He then went on to admit that although he enjoyed his time with Demi, he'd simply found a better connection with Eva and he had to go with it.

"We do have a better connection."

Demi was naturally shocked, admitting that she totally did not expect Nas to return with the new comer. Yet she held her self confidently as she sat back down among the other couples.

Fans have leapt up to support Demi as she remained strong despite the heartbreaking news.

Other viewers felt sorry for Shaughna, who appeared to be even more stunned than Demi that Nas had strayed.

The 25-year-old, who faced a similar heartbreak, could not conceal her horror that Demi had been dumped.
