Love Island's Wes Nelson takes dig at famous exes branding them 'crazy'

Love Island star Wes Nelson has hit out at some of his famous exes – branding them crazy and overly intense.

The 22-year-old reality star has famously dated fellow former Islanders Arabella Chi, 29, and Megan Barton Hanson, 26.

While Wes and Megan dated for six months after appearing in the villa in 2018, the TV hunk and Arabella’s romance lasted a little longer, making it to nine months before they split in April last year.

But now Wes has hinted he didn’t enjoy either romance as they were filled with drama and intense scenarios – which he now hopes to avoid while looking for love this Valentine’s Day.

Wes made his apparent digs at Megan and Arabella during a TikTok session.

He said: “The type of girls I’ve gone for personality-wise and looks-wise has been completely different the last couple of years.

“But what has definitely changed is I want someone who’s very easygoing and chilled, easy to get on with.”

Brutally, he added: “I can’t deal with super, super intense craziness all the time.”

The star went on to take some of the blame himself, suggesting he he tends to fall in love too fast.

He continued in his TikTok Valentine’s Day live stream: “I over commit, sacrificing too much work stuff.

“With relationships sometimes I jump into things too fast.

“I’ve moved in with exes pretty quick. I’ve tried to slow myself down.”

Wes of course ‘moved in’ with potential girlfriends while featuring on Love Island in 2018 – the year that Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham won the crown.

The series is expected to return this summer after being called off last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

While the show traditionally films on the Spanish island of Majorca, it is believed the 2021 series could film on Birtish shores.

Reports have suggested ITV bosses are searching for a suitable villa in Devon and Cornwall – with the hopes summer weather will shine on the UK based series.
