Love Island Winter host Laura Whitmore reveals massive bombshell twist for first episode

Get ready to say goodbye to your social life for the foreseeable future if you're a Love Island fan as the show's first ever winter series is now just days away.

And the countdown has just got that little bit more exciting because new host Laura Whitmore has already revealed that a massive bombshell twist is going to be sprung on the Islanders.

They won't be able to get settled into their for long before it's thrown into play either as Laura has hinted that it will come in Sunday's launch episode.

As reported by The Mirror , Irish presenter Laura appeared on Friday's edition of Good Morning Britain to give Richard Arnold a tour of the plush £5.3 million pad.

As they reached the huge glossy new bedroom, Entertainment Editor Richard pointed out a disparity between the number of beds and contestants.

"There's 14 beds and 12 contestants," he remarked.

Laura grinned, replying: "Almost like there might be a bombshell happening..."

The pair ventured into other areas of the villa, which is bigger than ever for its winter version.

Entering the lounge, Laura said: "There's a lot of space for conversations and relationships to grow.

"Lots of little nooks and crannies if you want to get away from everyone else."

The includes Lewis Capaldi's ex Paige Turley and Rochelle Humes' sister Sophie Piper.

You'll be able to see them in action for the first time when Love Island launches on ITV2 on Sunday night at 9pm.
