Love Island winners Paige Turley and Finn Tapp scooped top prize by just 1% of vote

Paige Turley and Finn Tapp were crowned the winning couple of winter Love Island last month.

The Scottish singer and hunk scooped up the £50,000 prize money - which they decided to split equally - after being voted number one by the public.

Following the show final it has been revealed that the smitten pair won the Love Island vote by just 1% more than much-loved couple Siannise Fudge and Luke Trotman - who placed second.

Official voting figures have exposed that that Paige and Finn won 44.52% of the vote and runners-up Siannise and Luke T were not far behind as they received a 43.61% share of the votes.

Pretty red-head Demi Jones and Justin Bieber lookalike Luke Mabbott won 9.62% of the vote.

Jess Gale and Ched Uzor came in last with only 2.25% of votes.

Since their big win on the first winter run of Love Island, Paige and Finn have already started planning their future together.

Finn said earlier in February: "We’re looking to move in together already, 100%.

"Because it’s so intense in there, I can’t imagine not being together 24/7. We’re going to try to act quite fast."

Finn has also already said he's planning on getting down on one knee this year.

The footballer told The Sun Online : "I think we’ll get married. I can definitely see it.

"I’ve said to Paige, I’m not thinking short term, I'm thinking long term - the next five to ten years."

*Love Island is expected to return in Summer 2020.
