Love Island winners Paige and Finn enjoy boozy flight home with fellow Islanders

The Love Island adventure is officially over for the cast of winter 2020 as the finalists are flying back to Blighty.

Heading the bunch are the winners of the ITV2 dating show, Paige Turley and Finley Tapp, who are returning home with their wallets bulging to the tune of £50,000.

It is little wonder then that they are toasting their success on the flight home.

Finn and Paige both shared on their Instagram story a snap of them enjoying a boozy return as they settle in for the 13 hour flight back to the UK from Cape Town.

The Love Islanders are due to touchdown around 8am on Wednesday morning and the show's finalists will get their first taste of the fame they have achieved while looking for love under the sun.

Paige and Finn shared an insight to their return with them posting a pic of them in the departure lounge.

Finn captioned the snap: "About to fly home with @turley_paige and the rest of the guys. Looking forward to getting back to England.

Paige added her thoughts to her boyfriend's post, writing: "Thank u so much for the support, until next time South Africa"

With them safely onboard the flight, the pair then shared a moving image of them clinking glasses as they enjoyed a cocktail.

Finn took the time to thanks those that had voted for him, writing: "Overwhelmed with the support - thank u so much everyone."

Paige added a more affectionate thought, writing: "En route to London with this belter x @finley_tapp"

Once they have touched down in the UK, the winning pair have said that they would be looking to use some of their money as a deposit on a house together in Manchester, after being sold the idea by fellow islander, Callum Jones.

Paige is from Scotland while Finn, a 20-year-old semi-professional footballer from Milton Keynes, feel it is a good compromise for the pair of them.

Explaining the move, Paige said: "I totally love Scotland. I've never had a reason to move away from it. I think Glasgow might be a bit rough for Finn.

"They'd eat him alive! Ha ha! I'm joking. I think it would be a bit unfair of me to take him away from his comforts."

After spending 24/7 together in the trappings of a luxury villa, the tests on their relationship starts now as they take on life in the real world.
