Love Island winner Liam Reardon has opened up about being “swarmed” by American fans while out having a few pints in Dublin during St Patrick’s weekend.
The Welsh hunk– who won the show with Millie Court – said he came to Dublin on New Year’s Eve back in 2018 – and then returned again to the capital on St Patrick’s Day this year.
But the heartthrob revealed that while having a few drinks with friends in Dublin tourist hotspot Temple Bar, Liam became “bombarded” for pictures from American fans.
He said: “So the first time I came to Dublin was back in 2018 for New Years Eve and that was brilliant. But I also came out this year for Paddy’s Day.
“I got absolutely bombarded. I was swarmed all day. But it was good, everyone was so friendly. 80 or 90 per cent of the people coming up to me were American.
“The Americans love the UK TV shows and they all knew who I was.
“We stayed around Dublin, around Temple Bar area. It was great but the next time I visited Ireland, I wanted to go to Galway, Cork and Kerry.”

Liam grabbed his skates and joined guests at Dundrum On Ice for a glide around the frosty rink, bejewelled with twinkling lights and festive finery, followed by the Après Skate Party for an evening of banging tunes, bespoke cocktails and canapés at The Flying Duck Restaurant in Harvey Nichols.
Liam has just split with Millie and the sexy singleton said he’s not looking for love just yet.
He told us: “We’re very much just friends and that is the way it’s going to be for now. I’m not sure what the future holds. We’re just friends for now. We had a great experience and time together and I’m grateful for the time together but right now we’ve gone our separate ways but we’re good friends and that is the main thing.
“There has been a fair bit (of DMs) but I’m very selective with who I give my time to. I’m not looking for something heavy and serious right now. I’m working on myself and doing things for myself but you get a fair bit of attention, which is sometimes flattering,” he said laughing.
