Love Island winner Greg O'Shea 'throws shade' at ex Amber Rose Gill in one word tweet

Love Island winner Greg O'Shea has seemingly thrown shade at his ex Amber Rose Gill on Twitter.

The Irish rugby star dated the Newcastle woman for a few weeks after their Love Island stint before they broke up.

And on the one year anniversary of their reality show win, Amber tweeted about the achievement without any mention of Greg.

She said: "Can you believe it's been one whole year since I won Love Island."

And the Limerick man replied on Thursday night with a simple "congrats" after the tweet which suggested she won on her own.

Amber and Greg of course split the £50k prize fund for winning the show together - albeit Irish man Greg was only in the show for two weeks.

Fans were surprised by the reply with many shocked by the "shade" on show.

Greg recently revealed why he decided to end their relationship which was down to the fact that they 'really didn't know each other that well'.

He told Goss.ie: "She's class and she's got everything going for her. But the issue was, when I came home I stuck myself into training.

"I could have tried harder but that would have made her unhappy. I couldn't give her what she wants and needs."

Since winning Love Island, Greg has enjoyed success in Irish broadcasting and is busy sitting his law exams.
