No-one was more delighted by Amber and Greg's Love Island win than her family and now they are getting set to travel down south to welcome her home.
Gateshead beauty therapist Amber and Irish rugby player Greg stunned bookies and themselves by beating hot favourites Tommy & Molly-Mae in Monday night's live final.
As well as the millions tuning in at home, hundreds gathered at Stack in Newcastle for a huge party which saw the shipping container hotspot become an 'Amber Fan Zone' as the final aired on a big screen.
Among those in attendance were Amber's parents Vanessa and Leon, who went on stage after her and Greg's win to thank everyone for their support and pay tribute to their "amazing" daughter.
Now, they and other friends and relatives are getting ready to travel down to London in the early hours to be reunited with Amber as she, Greg and the other Love Island finalists arrive back on UK soil.
And, while they'll only see her briefly, Vanessa said she can't wait to give her a hug.
"For me she went in the villa as a child and come out as woman.
"She was a total superstar in there and I think the way she handled herself in an inspiration to other girls.
"I am so proud of how strong she was through all of the Michael stuff; he treated her like rubbish, and she could have easily can back there when he said he still liked her.
"It would have been the easy option but I'm so, so pleased she chose Greg. When me and Leon went into the villa last week I could see she had a real twinkle in her eye.
"Greg is lovely and even better looking in the flesh - the TV doesn't do him justice."
Amber is set for a manic few days back in the UK. It's her 22nd birthday on Sunday and she'll spend the day filming the Love Island Reunion special.
