He briefly met her family during their fleeting visit to the villa but Love Island winners Amber and Greg have now spent some proper time in Newcastle as the Geordie girl brought the Irish guy to home turf.
It's still less than five days since Amber and Greg triumphed in the live Love Island final and having landed back in the UK on Wednesday , to be given a hero's welcome by friends and family waiting at the airport, the pair headed to the North East on Thursday.
They have a packed schedule in the run up to Amber's 22nd birthday on Sunday, which also happens to be when the Love Island Reunion show is taking place.
But they did find time for a bite to eat in town before heading to Amber's house in Whickham for a family party, and as you can see from the shots taken from Greg's Instagram story- the congratulations banners were out in force!
Limerick lad Greg is expected to return the favour by taking Amber to Ireland. They might well bump into Curtis & Maura after the Irish model flew out to her homeland with the ballroom dancer on Thursday morning.
It was reported on Tuesday that , with Amber set to sign a big clothing contract worth £250,000 this week.
