Love Island winner Amber brands Michael as 'weird' for kissing Joanna again

Love Island winner Amber Gill was shocked that former flame Michael kissed Joanna this week, branding their reunion as "weird".

Scouse firefighter Michael was coupled up with Amber for weeks, but ditched her for Joanna when Casa Amor rolled round.

Amber was left heartbroken - until Greg O'Shea walked into the villa and made her smile again.

But Michael was left alone, when he had a furious row with Joanna in their last scenes together and then tried to get back with Amber.

However since coming out of the villa he's been spotted getting very close to Joanna and he confirmed the pair had gotten closer again on Lorraine yesterday.

Amber found out the pair's reunion after leaving the villa and told Mirror Online she finds it strange.

She said: "Am I surprised by that? To be fair I didn’t see much of their relationship. I don’t really know how they were.

"Michael definitely tried to come back to me so I think it’s a bit weird. I don’t really want to say too much."

Amber also said she didn't think she'd of won the show if she stayed with Michael.

She said: "If I'd gone for Michael it would have been she’s gone back to the guy who didn’t treat her well.

"Me and Greg were a good match and he came in when I needed a gent and I feel like that's why it went for us.

"I don’t think Michael will be kicking himself. I think he was happy for me either way. I think everything happens for a reason. We’ll have to see what his reason is."

Amber's dumped co-stars Joanna and Michael set tongues wagging when they were spotted looking cosy at a Kisstory even in London on Saturday.

Joanna denied they had kissed saying Michael was just whispering in her ear, but yesterday Michael confirmed on Lorraine that the pair had grown closer again.

He said: "With Joanna we don't know whats happening right now, we still haven't had a sit down chat and we're playing everything by ear.

"We still we don't know whats happening, we have got a lot to discuss."

Former islander Lucie, who was also on the show, chipped in and said: "I feel like she does still like him."

And Michael admitted: "You can't just turn those feelings off."
